London’s best burgers

1.     HonestBurgers

with many locations allover London, Honest has established its name as an association to the best burger one can have. They are known for only using the highest quality ingredients and have one of the best rosemary fries ever! What we like about their restaurants is that the are unpretentious, no one is trying too hard to be cool but offer the most delicious burgers. The "Honest" burger is the traditional version - it comes with the delicious Honest burger relish, a sweet red onion concoction, layered over bacon, cheddar cheese and pickled cucumber. For the adventurous foodies there are monthly specials to be explored!

2.     BleeckerBurger

We highly recommend the pretty simple and without any complications cheeseburger! The cheese lovers among you should most certainly try the "Blue Burger" which contains blue cheese, onion and lettuce. The best thing you can do is to pair your burger with their killer fries and you’re all set. There are four locations across London so you can search for the closest one to you right now.

3.     Hawksmoor

Hawksmoor will offer you an amazing experience not just because of the delicious food, but also because of the setting with low lightning, copper ceilings and private booths. However, the beauty of their burger simplicity is backed up by their attention to the details. Consisting of of 100%Longhorn, it includes old fashioned cuts like Clod and Sticking and small nuggets of bone marrow.

4.     Burger& Lobster

Burger & Lobster is not the typical burger place. It has exactly three dishes, one of them being the beef burger. From the moment you see the perfectly stacked burger, you know you’re in for a treat. The meat is lightly seasoned, perfectly medium-rare and it simply melts in the mouth. The burger is accompanied by crispy fries and a well-dressed salad.

5.     BlacklockShoreditch

Blacklock’s third chophouse inhabits a classic Shoreditch warehouse space, so it comes as no surprise that the menu is mainly chops. It also has an unexpected ace up its sleeve in the shape of the so-called ‘Blacklist’ burger. You won’t see it on the menu, but just ask for it by name and they’ll nod knowingly. There is a trick we want tolet you in on! The best thing they offer is the so-called ‘Blacklist’ burger, but you won’t be able to find it on the menu simply because it is not on it!But if you just ask for it by name, they will know! You will get a juicy patty loaded with sliced gherkin and onions caramelised in vermouth plus a slug of mild sriracha-laced burger sauce all inside a soft sesame bun. Do not neglect their crispy beef-dripping fries.

6.     BurgerBoy

Listed as one of the top 5street food traders and top 10 burger in London, Burger Boy most certainly deserves a place on our list. It’s pretty rare to find burgers cooked ‘prettyrare’ these days, but BB is one of the few exceptions. You can find him among the stalls of Street Food Union on Rupert Street (fromWednesday to Friday). The star on his menu is a cheeseburger pimped up with nuggets of bacon, red onion and lettuce. To add additional greatness to it we advise you to top it up with one of the huge range of sauces, including chipotle mayo

7.     BabaG’s Camden Restaurant

Baba G isan India inspired lamb jalfrezi burger. The restaurant is also known for making one of the very few acceptable ‘veggie’ burgers in London. The new CamdenStables restaurant is definitely a stop to add on your list.

8.     SlowRichie’s

Being permanently present at Brick Brewery, Slow Richie's has undoubtedly become one of the best burgers in London! The 'Haggis Hog' is definitely not the typical beef and cheese patty affair - slow roasted pork, haggis and Slow Richie's signature BBQ sauce combine into a bulky treat for the burger lovers.
